  • Adapting coaching to meet different learning styles and diverse groups of people
  • Coaching demonstrations
  • Preparing for peer coaching

Module Information

The modules are delivered using a combination of theory and practical application and focus on using your real life examples to aide the learning and understanding process.

Assessment

Participants must attend all sessions and complete a work based assignment following the programme to prepare them for the real coaching they intend to carry out at work.

Each candidate will experience a two hour ‘one to one’ tutorial to discuss their work based assignment and will be ‘coached’ themselves to prepare them for the ‘real’ coaching practice.   Following this they must complete and be satisfactorily assessed on a work based assignment to test their understanding of coaching.

Each candidate will have identified at least one ‘real’ (or perhaps several) situations in which they intend to utilise their coaching skills and will be required to carry out at least 6 hours of coaching in the work place following the programme. (We envisage this taking place over a 6 - 8 week period). Following each coaching activity,  candidates are required to complete a Coaching Diary to reflect on their experience. Dairies are assessed as part of the qualification process.
